Haiti Recovery Group

Haiti Recovery Group (HRG) is a dynamic partnership between US-based ASHBRITT and the GB Group.

This powerful alliance offers the most versatile and comprehensive resources possible to perform full disaster recovery work and in the magnitude of the unprecedented earthquake of January 12th, 2010 in Haiti.

The company’s capabilities and experience also cover the area of special environmental services such as landfill operations and flow of material salvage. WITH OVER $30 MILLION OF COMPANY-OWNED HEAVY EQUIPMENT IN HAITI, the company has MOBILIZED by far the largest amount of specialized equipment for debris transport and processing available in country. This includes everything from wheel, track and skid steer loaders to dump trucks, telescopic handlers and cranes. We also have access to a variety of support apparatus such as concrete power tool packages and water and fuel trucks.

Partner AshBritt’ s role as Hurricane Katrina’s “Prime Contractor” for debris management – the largest cleanup effort by one company in U.S. history – is further evidence that HRG is ready to put its expertise to work. Additional investments include a solid life support camp that can be expanded to house over 500. Equipped with a core infrastructure, this facility is situated in a safe area with proper drainage and is designed to provide a high level of health and safety, while offering comfortable and efficient living quarters (air conditioned rooms, internet connectivity, satellite television and air conditioned Gym).

In addition to serving as the home base and principal office for HRG local and expat staff, the camp is open to U.S. and International Government Agencies as well as non-government organizations in need of accommodations.
