Aciérie d’Haiti, also known as adh, remains one of the country’s largest industrial ventures and is one of the most RECOGNIZED commercial BRANDS in Haiti.
The facilities sit on an impressive 100-acre complex which has been the company’s home since 1972.
Today, adh is a pillar in the building materials industry, relentlessly supplying its customers with a full range of steel and forest products on a national level.
Following the earthquake of January 2010, the company is undergoing its own reconstruction efforts as its facilities were significantly impacted.
The “finished product” of this major project will be a NEW, STRONGER and completely UP TO DATE STEEL PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION CENTER able to face all future customer needs and requirements – inauguration for Q4 2011.
adh markets reinforced steel bars following ASTM STANDARDS, cold-formed welded carbon steel tubes - round, square and rectangle – , angles, flats, steel sheets, wire mesh, beams, C and Z CHANNELS and other related products.
The company is by far the largest distributor of steel products in the Haitian market and one of the largest in the Caribbean region.
Moreover, adh’s lumber division has grown to become highly competitive and versatile.
adh has become the country’s largest lumber yard since it began operation in 1999, carrying the largest and widest in-country inventory at any given time.
The current product-line includes treated, rough and dressed pine lumber, hardboard, Mild Density Fiber Boards, pine and Virola plywood, treated plywoods, pine doors and precious woods for specialty wood shops.
