Reuven Bigio | Chief Executive Officer
Mr Bigio has been an active member of the Group’s management team since 1998. He has been CEO of Acierie d’Haiti since 2001 and as Board member, has initiated and led several key projects and diversification efforts. Mr Bigio’s objectives are to lead the Group’s executive activities around an efficient structure designed to manage centralized functions, monitor investments and pursue new opportunities.
Alex Dolcé | Executive Vice President – Consumer Goods
As CEO of Huileries Haitiennes, Mr. Dolcé is one of the Group’s leading executives and Board advisors in all matters related to production and sales and marketing in this industry. He has been developing and implementing key group objectives for many years and has, in the last 12 months, managed the acquisition and the commercial and organizational integration of Huileries Nationales into Huileries Haitiennes (HUHSA). Mr Dolce is also an active Board Member of DINASA and enjoys one of the longest tenure for a GB Group Board member.
Carmelle Jean-Marie | External Affairs & Project Development
Mrs. Jean-Marie has a strong background in Financial Regulations and Project Financing, both in the public and private sectors. She has held key leadership and advisory roles to several Ministers and Governments as well as senior business development positions for a reputable French banking institution in the Caribbean for many years. Today Mrs. Jean-Marie coordinates the Group’s relationships with external stakeholders and oversees Project Sponsoring activities, all Group affiliated companies and investments.
Chantal Larco | Administration and Human Resources Director
Chantal Larco joined Aciérie d‘Haiti S.A – an affiliate of the GB Group – in October 2006 after more than 25 years of executive experience in the Haitian banking sector. She later assumed the role of being the Group’s Human Resources & Administrative Director in March 2010. In that capacity, she is tasked with standardizing policies and coordinating procedures within the Group’s operating companies. She also leads human resource training and ensures seamless coordination between the legal and the security departments.
Christelle C. Paul | Business Development
Christelle C. Paul recently joined the GB Group in June 2011 as Projects Analyst and Coordinator. With a strong 12 year experience in the Haitian banking system, she went up different positions from Marketing Officer to Corporate Relations Director. Christelle holds a BBA in Commercial and Consular Science from Institut Catholique des Hautes Études Commerciales (ICHEC) in Bruxelles, Belgium.
Claude Labossière | Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Claude Bernard Labossière joined Aciérie D’Haiti SA on December 1, 2006 as Chief Financial Officer, after having accumulated a broad and diversified experience working in companies such as Arthur Andersen in NY, the Office of the New-York State Comptroller, KPMG –Haiti, Bank of Boston-Haiti among others. A 1977 Brooklyn College graduate with a BS in Accounting, he also holds an MBA in Finance from Baruch College in 1981, and became a CPA in 1982. Mr. Labossière is a valued member of the GB Group executive Team and has recently been promoted to become the Group’s Chief Financial Officer.
Jean Marc Glaudon | Executive Vice President – Building Materials and Transportation
Mr. Glaudon has been in the building materials industry for the last 12 years, acting as one of the three Management Team Leaders of Acierie D’Haiti. As a result, he has one of the leading experiences in the group related to the marketing and distribution of goods within this sector and is one of the Board’s top advisors in matters related to Business Development. Mr. Glaudon has also been a key contributor to the GB Group’s pivotal support role to the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) rescue mission in Haiti days and weeks following the January 2010 earthquake in Haiti. He is also an active Board Member of Republic and a proud graduate of the prestigious Swiss school Le Rosey.
Juan Carlos Chang | Corporate Planning, Systems and IT Director
Mr. Chang brings thirty years of experience in the field of ERP systems and Financial controls having held various senior positions in Finance and IT at Royal Dutch Shell prior to joining the GB Group. His role is to constantly challenge existing practices to find better ways to add value to shareholders’ and executives’ decision-making processes by providing high quality Management Information. Thanks to his specific skills and experience he is responsible for all matters related to management information systems, financial planning and IT application support and projects.
Matt Greenberg | Executive Vice President – Trading
Matthew Greenberg joined the GB Group in 1995 as chief purchasing officer with responsibilities for international raw material purchasing and transportation. He has been trading physical commodities for over 30 years. A graduate of Columbia University, Mr. Greenberg has worked in Europe in and the United States, with increasing responsibilities in the international trade of agricultural feed ingredients, oilseeds, vegetable oils, steel products, and a wide range of other products.
Pablo Portes | Executive Vice President – Energy
Mr. Portes joined the ranks of GB Group to lead the regional expansion of the Group in the fuel marketing and distribution industry. In this capacity, he is actively leading a dynamic and professional team of petroleum executives with a combined experience of more than 100 years. Following the January 2010 earthquake, Mr. Portes’ leadership and the team’s expertise were fundamental to support management in restarting the supply of fuel throughout the country despite the major damages incurred at DINASA. Additionally, he has become a solid and well-rounded business development team member, participating in all major initiatives, regardless of their industries.
Rudolph Berrouet | Corporate Executive Vice President
Mr Berrouet is acting COO and VP, overseeing the areas of financial control, Administration, Legal Affairs and Business Systems. The broad scope of these responsibilities reflects the day-to-day management purpose of the GB Group organization towards its shareholders of affiliated companies. Mr Berrouet sits on the Board of several joint venture companies and Professional Commissions representing GB Group and also acts as special advisor to the Chairman.
Ryan Larrauri | Executive Vice President – Telecom
Mr. Larrauri has 20 years of first-hand experience in managing teams in leading companies in the Edible Products and Financial Services sectors. Most recently Mr. Laurrauri served as Chief Operating Officer for a major telecommunications company in the Dominican Republic. During these years, the companies Mr. Larrauri managed had repeatedly received awards for “Top Brand” and “Most Admired Company. Mr. Larrauri joined GB Group in 2010 to cultivate the fastest growing economic sector in the last five (5) years: Telecommunications.
Yael Bigio | Executive Vice President – Real Estate Development
Mrs. Bigio Garoute is CEO of Immocaraibes and Metaltec. She oversees the Group’s housing product offerings and real estate development activities for the residential and commercial retail markets. She is currently designing a unique high end residential and tourism project on the famous island affectionately called “Ibo Beach”, located just 20 minutes north of Port-au-Prince. Mrs Bigio Garoute has been active in this field for the last 11 years and has delivered turn key housing projects all over the country.
